County Civil

Upper and Lower Courts

A County Civil case search, also known as a county docket search, is a search for any type of county civil case a particular applicant was involved with. These records can include child support documents, litigation, divorce records, name changes, and more.

They do not obtain Federal Civil case information. CI searches each county the subject has lived in, and usually only goes back 7 to 10 years to find records.

These records encompass disputes between individuals, businesses, or entities, covering issues like contracts, property disputes, family matters, debts, and more.

By examining these records, we gain valuable insights into a candidate's legal history, offering you a deeper understanding of their background.

County civil searches need to be performed using the individual’s name, increasing the probability of a false positive.

Applicant’s with common names can delay civil searches substantially, so it is best to use additional verification methods to streamline the inquiry results.

As a Private Investigator, our staff has the resources to quickly determine the appropriate results for that individual.

Some states have upper and lower county courts that need to be searched independently of each other. The same type of information can be found in both courts, but hiring teams need to search where the case was filed.

While uncommon, situations involving both courts can delay the investigation, as our staff has to contact two government agencies.

However, our investigators will start both process simultaneously in attempts to streamline the applicant process.
