New Expanded Drug Testing Panel Now Available!

For those companies who currently conduct drug screenings, there is now a more extensive test available through Commercial Investigations LLC, 10 Panel plus Expanded Opiates plus MDMA.  This includes drugs such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Morphine and Ecstasy. There have been significant and alarming increases in the incidence of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone use in recent years, as measured by the National Survey on Drug Use and Health.

A closer look:
Even though the terms opiates and opioids are many times used interchangeably, there are differences that need to be considered when drug testing.  Opiates are typically referred to as natural pain remedies and derived from the opium poppy plant.  Opioids are synthetic pain medications that are manufactured by chemical synthesis and made to work like opiates.

While opiates and opioids may have similar effects on the brain, they need to be tested for differently in drug screenings.  Commercial Investigations LLC offers a 10 Panel Plus Expanded Opiates and MDMA, which tests for drugs such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Morphine, and Ecstasy.

The drug screening industry is constantly developing, and Commercial Investigations LLC will continue to keep you up to date with information and innovation in the industry.

Take the proactive approach; upgrade your drug testing panel today!

Please note:  Scheduling a drug test through our software system couldn't be easier!  Once we set up the account, you are able to schedule a drug test, set an expiration date, and then a .pdf form is automatically populated for your candidate.

Over time, a drug testing policy can reduce turnover and increase both productivity and employee morale.  Following are examples of situations that may warrant drug testing and could be outlined in your drug free workplace program:
Pre-Employment: A proactive approach to your applicant screening process and an effective means for deterring undesirables from applying.
Pre-Promotion: An effective means to maintain a drug free workplace and decrease the chance of promoting someone who is using or abusing drugs.
Annual Physical:  Test employees during annual physicals to refer current users for assistance or disciplinary action as stated in your drug free workplace policy.
Random:  An effective way to promote employee safety and security, and to protect property and equipment.
Post-Accident: Test to determine whether accidents are drug or alcohol related, deterring workers’ compensation claims and increasing safety.
