to provide a full service solution for New York health care entities to comply with the NYS OMIG requirement for assessing employees.
A customized process of assessing entity employees to ensure they have not been sanctioned or excluded by regulatory agencies,
known as Taiga Check™, has been developed by the Taiga Group LLC.
The Taiga Group is pleased to offer Taiga Check™, a customer-focused sanctioned and excluded provider testing service offered on a
subscription basis. Using Taiga Check™ provides direct status feedback by comparing your records to the NYS Office of Medicaid
Inspector General, Office of Inspector General, GSA/Excluded Providers Listing Service, and Office of Foreign Asset Control/SDN lists.
The Taiga Check™ system allows each client to securely upload their file for testing via the Taiga FTP Server. “Through the
assignment of individual user names and passwords, each provider can safely transmit data and receive results promptly,” commented

A sanctioned or excluded provider is an individual or business that has violated one or more regulations and has been penalized
through statutory and/or regulatory process from participation in a governmental program, such as Medicare or Medicaid.
While Taiga Check™ is effective in identifying name and provider ID number matches, there exists another level of identification
verification necessary to rule out, or in, a matched person. This is where Commercial Investigations LLC comes into play. The
